The incumbent promotes effective resource utilization and assumes a leadership role with the multidisciplinary team to identify and eliminate barriers to care in order to achieve an optimal clinical outcome for the patient and theircaregiversQualifications:In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required(3) years of nursing experience, with one year in specialty requiredCurrent state RN license requiredBLS Certification required (American Heart Association)Certification within specialty, preferredPrevious cardiology and clinic experience, preferredPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlySchedule: 4x10s, 7a-5:30p.Location: Mercy Cardiology AssociatesYour Connected Community:We believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness.
Mercy Hospital is an 82 bed, acute care hospital located in the scenic southwestern Colorado town of Durango. It is the only hospital in Colorado to be rated by Medicare with five stars for overall hospital quality. It is recognized for excellence in orthopedic and spine surgery and for outstanding patient experience and patient safety. Mercy has also received ten consecutive A grades for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group.
