job summary:A Logistics Technician is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Fairport, NY area. The position involves supporting production by performing administrative tasks, building sanitation, and logistics duties while training others and maintaining compliance with operational procedures.

responsibilities:
Perform operations in compliance with work instructions.
Complete production logistics by managing information through production systems.
Maintain a clean work environment through building sanitation tasks.
Prepare materials for operational and logistical tasks.
Interface with plant systems (e.g., document control, manufacturing execution system).
Communicate effectively and maintain/update records as necessary.
Train others in their responsibilities.Skills:
No manufacturing experience required, transferable experience (e.g., shipping & warehouse) preferred.
Experience with SAP is desired but not required.Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2+ years of work experience.qualifications:
