is seeking an experienced

Database Administrator 2

to work in

Annapolis Junction, MD.

Required Experience:

Maintain the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases to include: disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.Administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures.Evaluate and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.Perform database and software life- cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance with compliance of business requirements.Perform Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase Batabase and Application server administration.Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.Required Qualifications:

Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA.Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Security Clearance:

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
