DescriptionTriad is looking for Senior Accountant to join our team in our Jacksonville, FL headquarters. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting principles, advanced Excel skills, project management experience, and a solid understanding of internal controls. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, and successful project management within the accounting function.Responsibilities and day to day of the position will consist of:Financial Reporting:

Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.Account Reconciliation:

Conduct thorough reconciliations of all general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.Project Management:

Lead and manage accounting projects from inception to completion, including system upgrades, process improvements, and special financial analyses. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project outcomes.Internal Controls:

Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Perform periodic internal control reviews and recommend improvements as needed.Budgeting & Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.Audit Coordination:

Support external and internal audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required.Compliance:

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and company policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.Mentorship & Training:

Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues. Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge.Qualifications we would like to see from you:Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior or supervisory role. Proven track record of managing accounting projects and implementing internal controls.Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Strong experience with accounting software and ERP systems.Project Management:

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results on time and within scope.Analytical Skills:

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.Communication Skills:
