We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Windows Engineer to join our Keeper Privileged Access Manager (PAM) team. This is a 100% remote position with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area!

About the Role
As a Senior Windows Engineer, you will be joining an elite team of technical powerhouses within our Keeper Dev team. Play a pivotal role designing, developing and maintaining our Privileged Access Management platform for end-user devices using C++ or Rust technology along with Windows APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet both user and business requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
Utilize programming languages and technologies such as C++, Rust and Windows APIs
Balance multiple concurrent projects with varying priorities
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Conduct code reviews
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of developed code
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development and security
Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in Windows development
Strong proficiency in C++/C++11/C++17, with fair knowledge of the language specification
Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend class
Solid understanding of low level Windows apis, code injection, process hollowing and api hooking
Familiar with Socket Programming or Network Communications
Knowledge of security practices in coding and principles of encryption
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Due to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a US Person
