The Financial Analyst will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and collaborating on-site, providing flexibility while ensuring active engagement with our team and projects.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyses business and financial data by program for spending plans completion.Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.Analyzes not for profit industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.Provide support for detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts.Assist in preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual versus budget variances.Provide financial analysis support for department/program managers.Develop ad hoc reports, special studies and financial analysis which drive the behavior of the business.Identify and explore an unforeseen under or overspending,Design and administration of key performance metrics.Performs other related duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.Thorough understanding of project management.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong quantitative skills, expert problem-solving abilities, adeptness in logic, and analytical skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Two years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.Experience with fund or non-profit accounting is a plus.WORKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This person will work in a normal office environment with the usual pressures of managing workflow and dealing with time constraints. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Because of multiple sites within the department and the need to meet with others within the community, it is common to drive to several locations, sometimes in inclement weather. Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.

Salary Description

$80,000-$90,000
