Role Summary

Legacy Bank is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented

IT Help Desk Specialist

to join our technical support team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and eager to assist users in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues. As the first point of contact for our internal users, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by providing timely and effective support for hardware, software, and network-related inquiries. In this role, you will manage help desk tickets, communicate with users, and escalate issues when necessary.

ResponsibilitiesProvide first level support in an IT help desk capacity. Document and resolve technical issues and communicate with end users towards problem resolution.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Ensure network connectivity of all workstations and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.Assist with setup and maintenance of end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.Network asset management and network change management; including maintenance of network component inventory, related documentation, and technical specifications information.Assist with installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment and software.Monitor server system logs including backup servers and their associated operating systems and softwareResearch network products, services, protocols, standards, and compliance in support of Technology Officer for network procurement, development, and maintenance efforts.Other duties as assigned.Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, The Bank Secrecy Act, The Patriot Act, The Office of Foreign Assets Control and all security policies and procedures.Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.Experience in customer service or dealing with clients in a tech support role is valuable.Basic knowledge of Windows based operating systems, software applications, and troubleshooting methods.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals will put you ahead.Key Attributes
