Description
This position supports the Head of Development/Acquisitions who is responsible for overseeing new acquisitions, project funding, and execution of complex real estate developments
Underwrite real estate-primarily hotel developments and planned residential communities (multifamily and for-sale).Analyze market data, occupancy data, expense analysis, lease and sales comparable data to compile and present the best data to support underwriting assumptions.Perform complicated financial modeling/spreadsheet analysis in Excel to determine project financial feasibility and structure equity and debt terms.Complete sensitivity analyses to understand the impact of various changes in profitability and debt/equity terms.Prepare and submit internal and external commercial real estate investment and financing packages.Organize documents, coordinate and track deadlines and assist in preparing documentation for the closing process.Other duties as assigned.EOE W/M/D/V
Requirements
3 years of experience in commercial real estate development or acquisitions.Solid understanding of commercial real estate development, capital structures real estate valuation and cash flow analysis.Ability to organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions and make recommendations.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated with a focus on execution.Strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.
