Position Description
Voloridge Investment Management is a growing, fast-paced, quantitative investment management firm located in Jupiter, FL. We are seeking a highly organized IT Support Administrator to provide support for all users and their environments. The role will cover all aspects of user management, including support, helpdesk ticket management, purchasing & equipment deployment and coordinating with other IT members for new application deployment.
As the
IT Support Administrator , you will be responsible for ensuring all Voloridge employees have all resources needed to perform their daily job functions as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Summary of Job FunctionsAnswer user inquiries via Phone, Email, Tickets or in person regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems in accordance with agreed upon SLA'sSet up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and softwareInstall and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specificationsMaintain computer Images and use for deployment of new and system upgrades as necessary including appropriate documentationAssist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures for all processes required to maintain the user environment covering laptop build, user creation and all system installationsWork closely with our IT team to ensure that all systems are following security and audit requirementsRecord all incidents and requests into Helpdesk system for audit and review ensuring accurate details and categorizations are loggedMaintain inventory of all hardware and software systemsProcurement of all IT equipment as needed to support systemsCommunicate effectively with all internal associates, including trading, research, management, development, and operations personnelPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedRefer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for serviceDevelop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or softwareMinimum Requirements
3+ years of experience with 1st line technical support and managing user requests3+ years of experience troubleshooting computer problemsExperience managing new user setup from procurement through onboarding and trainingThe ability to work daily, onsite in our Jupiter officeHigh level of analytical thinking to solve problemsHigh level of communication to all levels of businessPreferred Skills and Previous Experience
Windows 10/11 Desktop SupportMCSE (Desktop) preferredExperience working with a trading / financial / investment / accounting companyCompensation and Benefits
