Job Summary

Responsible for promoting the safety and security of staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on promoting safety with the ability to remain calm in a crisis when incidents arise.
Job SpecificationsExpected Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.49 / hourShift & Schedule Availability: Full and Part TimeRequired Certification Level: WFR;EMT;OECRequired Ski Level: Expet
Other Specifics: Patrol members operate a variety of tasks in all terrain and in all weather conditions. Due to the nature of this position candidates must be able to pass an expert level ski patrol test upon hireJob Responsibilities:
Promote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditionsAssist injured/ill guests on the mountain and administering first aidTransporting injured guests off the mountainMaintain trails, including hazard identification and setting up closures, safety materials, and other impacts from the resort environmentTransporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of needPerforming closing procedures at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountainEnforcement of the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort PoliciesChairlift and guest evacuationOperating snowmobiles to various areas of the mountain, as neededOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Previous patrol experience requiredPass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test, capable of skiing all types of terrain under all weather conditions.Must be able to communicate fluently in EnglishMust be at least 21 years oldMust have excellent guest service skillsMust work well in a team environmentMust be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment

The expected pay range is $22.00 - $25.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
