This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of financial operations, including fee calculations, journal entry preparation, and balance sheet reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a keen ability to analyze large datasets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for continuous improvement, and are eager to grow your career in a collaborative setting, we encourage you to apply.Job SummaryResponsibilities:Perform Foodbuy LLC fee calculations, splits review, and volume allowance (VA) QCPrepare and park journal entries to capture routine and non-routine Foodbuy transactionsReview, analyze, and log new Member contracts and amendments. Align with the Onboarding, Account Managers, Member Experiences, and other teams to ensure timely and accurate payout of and accounting for the Member incentivesCollaborate with Capital Assets and Finance teams to set intangible capital assets and their amortization per the Member contractsProcess AP invoices and manual invoices requestsPerform routine and ad hoc research on the Foodbuy and Member revenue data and document findingsReconcile assigned Balance Sheet general ledger accounts and research variancesManage Foodbuy general inbox and ensure timely response to all inquiriesProvide excellent customer service to the internal and external clients through timely, comprehensive, and courteous communicationReview and challenge current processes to identify areas of improvementContribute to special projects as neededQualifications:Accounting experience - 1 year minimumExperience with month-end close, including complex accruals and balance sheet reconciliationsExperience manipulating and analyzing large volumes of dataKnowledge of basic accounting principlesStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, and match formulas)Experience with SAP, Supply Chain, and Power BI preferredExperience with a large company preferred ( $3 billion sales)Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven collaborative skills, ability to drive results, and customer-service attitudeProven ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlinesCPA candidate is a plusApply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
