Responsible for updating and modifying all training materials, including lesson plans, exercise books, job aids, simulations and scenarios in MST and in production. Works closely with the Epic Analysts to ensure alignment in system updates and other application enhancements. Audits educators during facilitation, offering feedback, suggestions, and when necessary, a remediation plan. Responsible for training end users, when needed. Other responsibilities include rebuilding and refreshing MST environment, managing and owning Application Parking Lot, maintaining Template Training requirement crosswalk process and maintaining the Training Schedule and Catalogue.

Builds and maintains the training environment used in providing end-user training on EMR (Epic).

Updates and modifies training materials and MST for systems/programs (Epic, others) and maintains accuracy of lesson plans, exercise books, job aids, simulations and scenarios.

Credentials/cross trains and audits educators on assigned applications.

Collaborates with Epic Analysts to ensure alignment in system updates and other application enhancements.

Develops and delivers remediation plan to educators, as needed.

Troubles shoot issues shared through Service Now, Analysts, or end users.

Trains end users on various assigned applications.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management ExperienceThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum EducationEducation - Bachelor's degree in General Education, Information Sciences, Business Management, Training and Development, Clinical Informatics, Project Management or related field of study.

Experience - Three (3) years adult healthcare education experience. Two (2) years in a medical office or healthcare facility training setting preferred. One (1) year of training on EMR preferred.

In Lieu OfIn lieu of a Bachelor's degree five (5) years training experience and completed certification or certification pending in Epic Application Curriculum and Epic Application Training Environment may be considered.

Required Certifications, Registrations, LicensesCertification in Epic Application Curriculum - must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Certification in Epic Application Training Environment - must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesBasic computer skills (word processing, database)

Knowledge of Office Equipment (fax/copier)

Mathematical Skills

Project management skills

Adult learningeducation theory

Experience developing customized training materials

Ability to trouble shoot issues and provide viable and valuable solutions.

Working knowledge of EMR environment and well-versed in all applications so that they can, with high quality, credential and cross train educators on assigned applications.

Working knowledge of Epic Application Curriculum and Epic Application training environment.
