These responsibilities include preparing monthly financial schedules to departments, cleanup and reporting of subledger activity, provides assistance on any day-to-day issues, as well as identification and resolution of data integrity issues. The Associate in this position must understand the underlying manual and system processes and the general ledger impact for assigned companies. The focus of this open position is on Accounts Receivable accounting and analysis.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable accounting and analysisMonth-end CloseCompany Analysis and ReportingAccount ReconciliationMaintain data integrityAssist in the annual audit processAnnually assist with the budgeting and reforecasting of revenue and expensesAssist the Senior Staff Accountant, Finance Manager and/or VP of Finance with any ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Two to three (2-3) years general ledger experience required (defined as: journal entries, account reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, GAAP accounting).Preferred: CPA/CMA, and experience assisting with tax and audit schedule preparationIntermediate knowledge of MS ExcelWorking knowledge of MS Word and MS OutlookJ.D.
