Education: Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Degree
Experience/Qualifications: Licensure in the State of Florida as APRN/RN or Physician Assistant, American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Provider, ACLS CertificationDemonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competencyExcellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, Experience in OR working as a first assist. Preferably in the Oncology field.
Position SummaryThe APRN/PA works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active practice to deliver health care services to patients and families. Provides direct patient care.Performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol. Provides patient education and counseling. Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth at JMC. The position will support all of oncology physician plus assisting as first assist in the OR. Performs other duties as assigned.
