Since 2016, CMS has trailblazed the way for quality interactive storytelling. Through CHAPTERS: INTERACTIVE STORIES, readers immerse themselves in compelling playable novels licensed from best selling global authors. Through KISS: READ AND WRITE ROMANCE, enthusiastic players are welcomed into the world of serialized romance that they can consume and create and now, CMS has ventured into the next-generation of HD streaming platforms with bite-sized episodic shows on their latest release, REELSHORT, which has made it's way in the #1 on the iOS Top Charts and one of the top grossing apps consistently.
As a Bilingual Video Editor, you will be creating and editing videos for our app, Reelshort - to support our growing team projects across US and China. A strong candidate would be someone who has 2-4 years of experience in marketing creative team, or short video editing with a strong understanding of social media platforms.
*This position is contract to full-time*
RequirementsAbility to re-edit videos shot for Reel short app, and create promotional adsReview for any flaws and provide feedback on rough cut videosConsistently improve video content based on performance reports from the marketing team.Work effectively and collaboratively with global teams in various time zonesEnsures timely and consistent communicationEnsure quality and consistency across projects with brand guidelinesAble and willing to work from our Sunnyvale, CA office 4 days a weekQualifications:
Experience in video editing and skillful in video editing softwares, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects (Davinci is a plus)The ability to follow direction and solve problems independently/teamwork meeting goals and deadline while maintaining high qualityMust be detail oriented and strive for perfectionProficient in Mandarin (Verbal and Written)Strong creative thinker and is proactive in seeking out new solutions to challengesMust be familiar with social media platforms including but not limited to: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTokMust have an ear and knack for pairing music with the storyPerform other duties as requiredStartup experience is an assetBenefits
