Visit our PinFlex landing page to learn more. The Sales Strategy & Operations (SS&O) organization guides and executes critical business decisions across the global advertising sales organization through strategy, analytics and operations. Team members are experts in business strategy and operations as well as analytical and strategic thinking. They are pragmatic and results-oriented.The Central SS&O team drives efficiency and effectiveness at scale for the global sales organization via strategy, analysis, systems, tools, and processes.What you’ll do:Build, institute, and manage our approach to consistently identify and implement improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the 1000+ person sales forceSet targets and milestones for overall seller productivity objectives (e.g. productivity gains, win rates, satisfaction ratings, etc.); monitor these targets; create and institute plan to provide consistent updates to leadership and other key stakeholdersStructure recurring feedback mechanisms to capture seller productivity opportunity areas from sellers and cross functional partner teams (e.g., time studies, feedback surveys); translate data and findings into insights and improvement opportunities Socialize feedback with leadership from Sales and partner teams such as Product, Product Marketing, and Global Sales Solutions to align on focus areas for seller productivity improvementsDefine Pinterest’s seller productivity roadmap based on findings from feedback mechanisms above and additional mechanisms, with alignment from Sales and cross functional leadershipCreate a framework to size and prioritize opportunities / needs for seller productivity improvements to inform annual and ongoing company-wide priority and resource planningDevelop continuous process to measure progress and success of individual seller productivity projects; align with project owners on project success metrics; build and implement a tracking mechanism, reporting template, and reporting cadencesIdentify and drive required course corrections when milestones are not met and escalate as neededOwn ‘change management’: define and execute cadence, mechanisms, and messaging to communicate seller productivity initiatives and progress against them to the companyWhat we’re looking for:10+ years of professional experience in strategy & operations in highly cross functional environments such as management consulting, corporate strategy or technology/media companies.Understanding of sales and digital advertising platforms plus working knowledge of sales systems and tools including SalesforcePassion for productivity improvements and cross functional partnershipEffectively navigate complex cross functional partnerships; build strong relationships with cross functional stakeholdersHighly structured, clear, and concise written and verbal communication that effectively drives action from leadership level audiences. Can simplify and translate complex findings / messages to drive leadership alignmentAnalyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide business insights Develop clear plans to shape the work needed to drive improvement opportunities; and drive those plans through to full completionHighly organized and detail-oriented, tightly manage and execute in well organized way while also able to prioritize effectively and focus on the most impactful areasSuccessful in fast-paced environments“Builder” mindset - proven ability to independently identify problems and pursue solutions for them“Growth” mindset - seek and provide feedback; curious about how to improveRelocation StatementThis position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
