Our team’s priorities are:  Delivering strategic solutions for clients  Actively collaborating across platforms  Developing our people and inspiring others  Supporting ambitions beyond the workplace  Applying new technology and data to drive change  What this job involves    Supporting and managing industry changing projects  As a Team Lead at JLL, you will be directly responsible for overseeing a team of Sustainable Buildings subject matter experts and providing oversight for challenging client projects. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. You will contribute to the development of project budgeting and scheduling and overseeing the strategy and execution through completion of construction. You will be focused on the client experience by providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities. Being collaborative, client focused, and team driven  You are focused on creating an energized and collaborative environment. Your primary focus will be team management and  driving client satisfaction through teamwork and relationship development. You are proactive and forward thinking, seeking to understand the needs perspectives and motivations of your team and your clients. You will deliver consistent, timely, high quality work meeting project requirements in a cost-effective way. You will also be able to scope and manage complex projects and oversee SPMs, PMs, and APMs managing projects of varying sizes.  Job Activities (sampling)  Leading and Managing a High-Performance Team Lead a team of Sustainable Buildings subject matter expert Senior Project Managers (SPMs), Project Managers (PMs), and Associate Project Managers (APMs) Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, ethics and excellence In coordination with the Team Leads on the Sustainable Buildings management team, allocate resources effectively across multiple projects and clients Project Oversight Provide oversight on complex, high-value sustainable building projects and programs such as ratings and certifications, design and construction standards, master planning, and decarbonization Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services across all projects Resolve escalated issues on behalf of the team and manage client relationships  Leadership Act as a key member of the Sustainable Buildings management team, supporting the Sustainable Buildings Practice Lead Support the strategic vision for the team, aligning with JLL's overall sustainability goals Identify emerging trends and opportunities in sustainable building practices and provide advisory on the integration within service offerings Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including whitepapers, articles, and speaking engagements Collaborate with other JLL departments to integrate sustainability across the organization  Business Development Win a minimum of $300k worth of individual sales credit annually via net new wins, client renewals and day-2 services Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities Cultivate, maintain, and expand existing relationships and service offerings with key clients and industry partners Represent JLL at industry events and conferences to enhance the company's profile in sustainable buildings  Financial Management Support financial budgeting/forecasting for the department through regular updates and coordination with finance Ensure project profitability through resource management, pricing and innovation  Sound like the job you’re looking for? Before you apply it’s also worth knowing what we’re looking for:   Education and experience  8-10 years’+ experience in Real Estate Sustainability, Corporate Environmental Management or similar, with at least 2 years in a leadership role with direct reports.  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, business, or related field with strong record of academic achievement  Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex, large-scale sustainable building projects/programs Deep knowledge of design, construction, and operations of buildings, as well as knowledge of Architectural, Landscape, Civil and MEP systems and sustainable strategies Strong understanding of global ESG trends and their application in commercial real estate Strong understanding of third-party certification processes and procedures  Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients Highly organized with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and foster existing and prospective client relationships LEED AP, WELL AP and/or Fitwel Ambassador, LFA  and other related credentials Tech minded   The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology.
