Construction Project Coordinator

Position: Construction Project Coordinator
Location: Winchester, VA
Salary: $60 000-$80 000 depending on experience. Additionally, the compensation package often includes benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) plans, and opportunities for professional development.
Must-Have: General Contractor experience

A well-established regional general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join its team. The Project Coordinator will simultaneously provide proactive administrative leadership, support, and controls for multiple projects, working closely with Senior Project Managers and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Management: Utilize construction management software to manage document control, including setting up and organizing required document folders, and uploading drawings and specifications.
• Team Coordination: Create and manage project team directories and distribution lists, ensuring effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Meeting Support: Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and produce detailed meeting minutes to ensure that all action items are tracked and completed.
• Budget Management: Enter project budgets into software systems and manage modifications as directed by project leaders.
• Daily Reporting: Assist the project superintendent by uploading daily reports and ensuring that all project documentation is up-to-date.
• Critical Task Assistance: Support project team members on various critical tasks, helping to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience with a commercial general contractor and knowledge of construction contracts and documents is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in construction management software and strong organizational skills are essential.
