Position Overview
This position will provide comprehensive Sourcing support to Proterra’s Sourcing Operations Director and other site leadership team members. You will be accountable to support the supplier improvement initiatives such as alignment with Accounts Payable on assuring supplier gets paid on time, supplier capacity by collaborating with internal and external customers, including Suppliers, Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, Finance, and Quality.
About the Role – You will:
Lead the team’s Clear-to-Build process
Conduct build plan feasibility scenarios for the SIOP Team
Lead Team metric collection and reporting
Utilize Oracle and Cloud Planning to provide forecasts for suppliers, create Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and plan for material availability for production
Review and provide feedback to Engineering on ECO’s with respect to supplier cut-in, inventory on hand, and technical issues
Monitor part changeovers to ensure material availability to the line
Support the organizations KPI’s: On-time delivery, Clear-to-Build, Supplier compliance with iSupplier use and ASN creation
Focus on supplier performance improvements to support delivery and capacity ramp up at our facility
Monitor and resolve Invoice Holds to ensure timely payment to suppliers
Work collaboratively to resolve systemic business problems
Cover for Sourcing Operations Director as needed

This position will be part of the Sourcing Operations team that supports Proterra’s Manufacturing Operations and Strategic Sourcing.
You will report to the Sourcing Operations Director and collaborate with other Supply Chain team members located at our headquarters in Burlingame, CA and in Greer, SC.
Our Team is located in Greer, SC and you will be expected to be an on-site employee.

Your Experience Includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent field
Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in manufacturing or high-tech industry
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge or understanding of ERP system (i.e., Oracle)
Experience in supplier management
Experience managing multiple objectives and plans and communication to suppliers and internal stakeholders
You might also have:
MBA or advance degree
Tableau experience is a plus
