The 3PL Operations Manager, North America collaborates with all departments to support the business needs in order to meet the safety, service and productivity goals of the organization. This role will review optimization and simplification of existing processes, sustainable operational improvements in safety, quality and productivity by managing the 3PL relationships for warehousing and transportation services in North America. The 3PL Operations Manager, North America engages functional leaders across distribution operations and other departments to ensure seamless execution and realization of the Global Logistics strategy.Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.Qualifications

FORMAL EDUCATION:Required:Four-year college degree in business, supply chain, logistics or equivalent experiencePreferred:Bachelor and/or MBA degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or business-relatedKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required:5+ years of experience in supply chain with focus on distribution centers, Fulfillment centers and regional HubsExperienced in analyzing and improving supply chain data, information and processesA dedicated believer in delivering a premium Customer experience every time.Experience in implementing Supply chain/process business transformation projects using ERP platform is highly desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SharePoint preferred. Proficiency in Oracle System and processes preferred. Experience working with (or, ability to quickly learn & master) a variety of technologies.Strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.Preferred:Experience building/editing Dashboards in Tableau or similar softwareLEAN certification/Six Sigma training or comparable will be added advantageProven track records of multidivisional, matrix and regional working environmentTECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Required:Contract Negotiation and Interpersonal Communication SkillsPreferred:Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems operating principlesExecutive Dashboard Data Visualization Reporting Tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Other Data Analytic Tools)TRAVEL:35%-40%Responsibilities

This position can be remote.CORE RESPONSIBILITYMaintain regular (daily) service performance reviews with 3PL management teamsAddress and coordinate open issues to responsible parties per 3PL Operational RASICreate & manage an annual operational budgetRegular budget monitoring, budget deviations clarification, corrective action plan implementation for significant differencesRegular Service Performance dashboards monitoring and CAPA creation for all instances of KPIs being under agreed targetIdentification & Implementation of cost rationalization (CI) initiatives both in warehouse and distributionConduct regular QBR meetings with all 3PL’s in scopeCoordination of annual physical inventory with key providersEnsure that 3PL operations are compliant with ‘SW’s WH operations standard work procedureManage ad-hoc escalations from the business regarding 3PL’s servicesCoordinate within the enterprise all initiatives aiming to scale up/down activitiesBe the SPOC for BU Leads in scopeDevelop and implement SHW WH operations standard work proceduresAct as owner of Logistics OTIF: perform root cause analysis on deviations, recommend improvements in existing processes and implement action plans to correct gapParticipate in the identification, development, evaluation, recommendation, and execution of process improvements and enhancements through established systems (ex. Oracle, Analytics, 3PL WMS systems) and additionally advanced technology opportunities such as Robotics, Late Stage Differentiation, Picking systems.Implement and enforce appropriate policies, procedures and working instructions to ensure compliance with logistics management principles and practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Monitor compliance with these areas and ensure process gains and administrative efficiencies are realized in logistics servicesPerform other duties as assigned
