Inspects, identifies, and repairs defects in composite aircraft components and structural bond lines. Performs repairs to carbon and glass composite material by following the appropriate engineering standard repair manual. Mixes and applies resin epoxy, adhesives, and sealants. Programs and operates ovens and curing equipment per established processes. Coordinates with engineers on the proper repair steps of minor to complex structural repairs. Ensures repairs meet fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance in accordance with design requirements.Qualifications:

Must be able to wear a respirator, lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally work in a warm environment. Must have strong attention to detail. High School Diploma or GED required. Two years experience in composite bonding or fabrication preferred, but not required.Cirrus is dedicated to a drug-free work environment promoting equal employment opportunity.
