Inside Car Buyer

DescriptionResponsible for managing inbound flow of customers seeking to sell their vehicles.Essential Job Duties:Prepare, edit and submit purchase orders to vendors in a timely fashion in accordance with company targets and goals.Monitor vendor back-orders and source product from alternate vendors as necessary.Work with branch locations to ensure company goals are met with respect to company’s receiving and put-away goals.Monitor key data elements and notify appropriate personnel if discrepancies/anomalies are observed.Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ’s quality improvement system.Assumes other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.College coursework desired.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with others.Machines/Equipment/Software:Computer, 10-key calculator, multi-user telephone system, copier, fax machine, and Microsoft Office software.Physical Demands and/or Working Conditions:Must be able to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and be attentive to details.Must be able to work weekends.Benefits:Health/Dental/Vision InsurancePaid Time Off401k with Generous Company MatchCompany Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term DisabilityShort-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsPay:
