2+ year performing echocardiographic studiesRegistered Cardiac Sonographer (RDS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
BLS
Previous outpatient experience preferredRequired:* Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)* 2+ year performing echocardiographic studies* BLSPreferred:* Previous outpatient experiencePrimary Duties and Responsibilities• Demonstrates clinical competency and technical skills as Sonographer• Uses appropriate techniques with ultrasound equipment to supply diagnostic studies based on physician request.• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment for diagnosis• Demonstrate capability to provide high-quality imaging• Maintains knowledge about advanced imaging features to support enhanced capturing of data• Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, and create digital preliminary reports for theinterpreting physician, and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician• Ability to review a physician's order to verify appropriateness of order being performed• Acts as a role model in providing care; assists in precepting Cardio Sonographers I.• Retrieves studies from PACS for review• Performs appropriate infection control processes• Provides an environment of care that supports patient safety• Addresses patient educational needs as pertains to requested studies• Prepares patients for the study• Supports IAC Standards and GuidelinesCOVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current BoosterFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): UnknownUnit: Echo Tech - 1102084
