In this role using SAP technologies, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of applications and solutions to support the bill-to-cash process for Brightspeed. You will have a deep understanding of payment, collections, and cash applications processes along with strong experience in SAP BRIM and FICA modules. You will be passionate about inspiring and leading teams directly and indirectly reporting to you and delivering exceptional user experiences while driving innovation through the development of cutting-edge applications.As a Technical Manager, Bill to Cash Process, your duties and responsibilities will include:Develop and implement innovative applications and solutions to support the bill-to-cash process using SAP technologies including BRIM, FICA, and FSCM.Design and build user-friendly applications and interfaces to support payments, collections, credit, and dispute processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver results that meet or exceed business expectations.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of the applications into the company's overall systems and processes.Develop and maintain a roadmap for the development of these applications and ensure they meet the company's strategic goals and objectives.Be hands-on and engage with internal and external team members to solve complex problems as they arise.Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the telecommunications industry and apply this knowledge to improve business outcomes.Manage the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Manage a team of developers, testers, and designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.Ensure operational excellence by developing, monitoring, and reporting critical KPIs around application health, availability, and business metrics.Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maximize business outcomes.Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of application development and operations.Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering results quickly and iteratively.Hire, grow, and mentor a diverse technical team in a 100% remote setting.QualificationsWHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in MIS, MBA, or related field.7+ years of experience in delivering business applications, with at least 5 years in SAP BRIM, FICA, FSCM modules delivering 2+ implementations.Strong leadership and people management skills.Proven track record of hiring, managing, inspiring, and growing a team of architects/developers/analysts and delivering high-quality software solutions.Proven experience in payments, collections, credit, disputes, and cash processes.Strong experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in the telecommunications industry is a huge plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Expertise in web and mobile application development, including HTML5, CSS, Java/JavaScript, and React is a plus.PMP or CSM certification is a plus.Additional InformationWHY JOIN US?Recognized as a Top Workplace by the Charlotte Observer, Brightspeed HQ is located on the 7th floor of the new Vantage South End - East Tower in Charlotte, NC.
