Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/28/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed On Call/Call Back Requirements: Able to take call if wanted Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire. Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required and MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed Charting- 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure.
