Purpose
We are currently seeking a
1st Quality Supervisor
for our Little Chute, WI location. This is a 1st shift on-site position, working Monday-Friday and requires some travel between our Little Chute and Appleton plants (mileage reimbursed). This role offers a great opportunity to make a critical impact as you work with manufacturing leaders and team members to drive continuous improvements and meet and exceed quality and cost objectives.

Responsibilities
Acts as a customer contact for resolution of quality issues.
Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing frames and translate into inspection program output to ensure manufactured products meet internal engineering and customer dimensional specifications.
May assist with programming CMM’s and visual inspection equipment to efficiently and effectively inspect a wide variety of parts.
May assist with training and technical support for colleagues in laboratory (CMM programming, dimensional measurements, and interpretation of GD&T).
Drive continuous improvement projects within the metrology group designed to improve operational efficiencies.
Confers with engineers about quality assurance requirements for new products being designed and manufactured and products currently being manufactured.
Stay current with quality certification requirements and review technical publications, articles, and data to stay abreast of technical developments.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience, including a combination of education, work experience, and on-the-job training.
3 years in metal manufacturing including metal stamping or fabrication preferred.
Ability to manage a team of professionals to carry out department goals, as needed.
Ability to interpret metrics, financials, and budgets.
