Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740Job Overview:Supply chain procedural area managers are responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing all supply chain activities in the assigned procedure area under the direction of the site supply chain director. This manager will oversee the management of supplies in the OR and perioperative areas.They collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure supply needs are met in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. They are the primary contact for vendors regarding vendor performance, concern resolutions and standardization. They ensure supervision is always on site to support the team. Attire should be business appropriate.Qualifications:Required:High School Diploma3+ years of supply chain healthcare management experienceMicrosoft OfficeExperience with an ERP (Enterprise resources planning) systemPreferred:AA/AS DegreeScheduling Requirements:6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday, Full TimeEssential Functions:Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, training, and initiatives.Manages procedural area supply chain staffing needs and activities for designated supply areas, including flow of products and special request items across all service lines.Utilizes reports such as procedure booking sheets, schedules two weeks out and daily, and historical product usage to proactively prepare and forecast all procedure supply needs.Collaborates with the site supply chain director to ensure all performance metrics are met or exceeded.Identifies cost savings opportunities and presents them to the site supply chain director and clinical resource director for consideration.Conducts documented daily and monthly rounding and audits for survey readiness relevant to RWJBH, DOH and TJC standards.
