Job OverviewAs a Child Care Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and educational programs of a child care facility. You will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Duties- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children- Supervise and support staff members to ensure high-quality care and education for all children- Maintain a safe and clean environment that meets health and safety standards- Establish positive relationships with parents, families, and the community- Manage the budget, enrollment, and administrative tasks of the child care center- Stay current on early childhood education trends and best practices
Qualifications- Experience working with students in an educational setting- Background in education or related field; higher education teaching or education administration experience is a plus- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Must have 60 college credits 12 must be related to early childhood education
Must have at least 1 year in a childcare setting.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with children, parents, and staff members
