The selected candidate will strengthen our environmental and routing/siting capabilities in the region, collaborating closely with established clients across various markets. Furthermore, this role will focus on expanding our environmental and routing/siting services and client base.The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing and leading projects of varying scales in the environmental industry. Key responsibilities include managing project tasks, developing proposals, and preparing cost estimates. Overseeing project budgets and forecasts while ensuring client satisfaction. Mentoring junior staff across various sectors, including renewable energy, electrical utilities, midstream oil and gas, and power generation.Key Responsibilities:

Lead project management and team initiatives.Prepare routing and siting studies, NEPA documentation, and federal and state regulatory submissions for a range of environmental projects.Participate in business development and networking activities.Lead proposal development and cost estimation efforts for environmental and siting projects.Collaborate regularly with agencies, clients, and team members.Demonstrate creativity and sound judgement in addressing challenges.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Perform additional tasks as required.Educational Background and Experience:

A B.S. or M.S. in environmental sciences, natural sciences, planning, or a related field from an accredited program is required. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.A minimum of 5 years of relevant consulting experience is necessary, including at least 5 years managing engineering or environmental projects.Demonstrated knowledge and existing relationships with clients at local, regional, and national levels are strongly preferred.Proven technical competence in natural, cultural, or socioeconomic resources related to industrial siting, licensing, and environmental permitting projects is crucial.The candidate must effectively engage with various stakeholders, including industry, government, and public entities.A strong ability to attract and retain clients, build revenue streams, and achieve return on investment (ROI) is essential.
