A client in the greater Chattanooga area is looking to hire a Wire Harness Specialist. This individual will be responsible for the commissioning of pre-series vehicles. They will look into any errors to ensure buildability of vehicles and on-time delivery.They will perform wire harness testing, provide documentation, update the ABP-Tool software and hardware changes, and any technical changes on buildability, cost, quality ergonomics, customer relevance. They will oversee the pre-series build schedules. They will analyze measurement reports, CAD data and drawings, and technical descriptions as well as perform root cause analysis of electrical issues and perform sample production trials to detect any defects that require quality improvements.They will lead escalation meetings for EE related commissioning problems with other departments and suppliers to ensure quick solution implementation. They will confirm production readiness and give their approval for pre-series electronics.90% in line, 10% document or follow up.Skills and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fields.Experience with building & testing wire harnesses.Experience with shared network communication, electronic networks/systems, such as: CAN, LIN, Ethernet.Experience leading escalation meetings.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
