Overview:

This position is responsible for leading, monitoring, and improving services for the housing communities of Benedictine. The Regional Director, Housing Services collaborates with the Vice President, Housing Services, Regional Directors Clinical Services, Director, Culinary Services, and the interdisciplinary team (IDT) within Benedictine to ensure the communities maintain the integrity of Benedictine’s housing systems and standards. Where full care continuum communities exist, this position will also work in partnership with the Vice President, Clinical Services, and Vice President(s), Operations to meet the needs of the campus as a whole. The shared goal is to achieve and maintain quality outcomes in the top percentile of comparative health systems in all levels of assisted living and housing. The Regional Director, Housing Services will bring a specialty area to Benedictine which can be shared across the regions (e.g. clinical documentation, systems, revenue integrity, regulatory and compliance).Responsibilities:

This role supports Benedictine’s Housing Communities, their leaders, and the interdisciplinary team by ensuring Benedictine’s housing systems and standards are implemented. With a focus on housing services, the position will partner to develop, revise, and implement systems, competencies, regulatory survey tools, clinical policies, and audits to meet current standards of practice and regulatory requirements.Participates in the orientation and ongoing support of directors of nursing and other nurse leaders in housing.Forms a partnership with the VP of Housing Services, VP of Operations, and VP Clinical Services to provide feedback to the community Executive Director and Nursing leaders in areas of performance outcomes.Identifies areas of improvement needed in housing and assists in the development of guidelines and protocols.Partners in the design of community and/or regional-specific education as needed as a supplement to community educators.Provides mutual support and back up to the Clinical Services Group (CSG) for community work.Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

RN license within one of the states in the region assignedMinimum of five (5) years of related experienceExperience as a DON or similar nurse leadership roleProven public speaking skills, ability to create tools and present presentations for multiple levels of staffAbility to travel up to 65% of the timeEEO/AA/Vet FriendlySalary Range: $115,000-$125,000
