The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects. This role translates strategy into a detailed project scope, MS Project schedule, budget, and resource forecast. In this position, the Project Manager will lead cross-functional project teams, including members across the Coloplast organization and external partners, while ensuring the project is completed on-time, within budget, and in accordance with the project contract.

This role will support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement that support predictable execution, cost-savings, and efficiencies.

Major Areas of AccountabilityLead projects across the Interventional Urology business including but not limited to:New product development projectsSustaining projectsTransformation and process improvement projectsOther

In collaboration with the project team:Build and optimize schedules in MS ProjectDevelop project budgets, review SOWs, POs, and invoices, and track actuals against forecasts/approved budgetsDevelop resource forecasts for project workMaintain project risk register to identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks, and escalate issues to stakeholders and leadershipMonitor project performance against project tolerances for schedule, budget, scope, and resourcesPrepare and present project status for Interventional Urology or other management boards as appropriateFacilitate problem-solving and solution-oriented negotiation and alignment discussions; propose solutions to the relevant decision makersExceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages across all levels of the organizationInfluence and develop trusting relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations

Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree3+ years of project management experienceAbility to travel up to 20%

Knowledge, Skills, and PreferencesProject Scheduling ExpertiseNew Product Development design transfer and launch readiness experienceExperience employing standard project management tools and practicesOrganizational skillsAbility to manage cross-functional and remote teamsAbility to facilitate problem-solving and alignmentFormal PM education/training preferredPM certification (PMP or other) preferredKnowledge of product development within the medical device industry including quality requirements and regulatory requirements preferredPrevious project management experience in the medical device product development industry preferredDegree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferredLean Six Sigma / Process Improvement experience preferred:
