Local ContractEducation:BSN Required.Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NRP.Details:# beds 14, 5 beds are used as triage/inpatient beds, 6 labor beds, 2 OR bedsCerts ACLS, NRP, Prefer RN-C,Ratios AWONNEMR Meditech and GE (chart in two systems)Charge Nurse try not to have them take patients, 3 days a week also have unit leaderNurse Aides Use scrub techsWeekend Requirement Every 3rd weekend for days, 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week period; night shift weekend are Friday and Saturday in this unitHolidays Travelers do not work holidaysScrub Color Provided by hospitalHospitalist or Intensivist in house Have in house 3 nights a week coverageIV Team NoRT 24/7 YesPharmacy 24/7 YesShifts nightsFloating Will task in OB or nursery but don't take patientsFloor specific orientation 2-3 shiftsCommon diagnosis / Types of patients C-sections are completed on the unit, nurses are expected to scrub, high risk OB patients, low risk antepartum goes to the OB side (not L&D side), mag patients go to L&D; must have high risk experience and be strong nurse ok w/ fast pace.
