Transport Network Planner
to come and join us at our site. You will be working Monday – Friday, 09:30-18:00, however flexibility will be required, this is logistics after all!Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to
£28,000.00
per annum. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What you’ll do on a typical day:Planning peak schedules to ensure the network is correctly resourced and additional costs are aligned with the budgetEnsure vehicles across the network are planned to be fully utilised and reduce vehicles scheduled per day per siteComplete analysis of the planned KPI’s vs actual vs budget. Any variations to plan need to be challenged/understoodControl costs in line with budgets and propose initiatives that will support cost reductionsCommunicate with colleagues, managers, internal and external contacts as required to ensure effective two-way communication exists to support achievement of agreed customer service levelsWhat skills you need to succeed at GXO:Experience within a planning or operations environment that demonstrates the capability to schedule and implement a paragon scheduleResults orientated, willing to take ownership for achieving targetsFinancially and commercially awareAble to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement“We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.”GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
