Could you be our new Project Officer?Transport for the South East (TfSE) is the sub-national transport body (STB) for the South East of England. Our partnership brings together 16 local transport authorities, 46 district and borough authorities and a wider range of stakeholders from the worlds of transport, business, and the environment.We have a long-term vision for the region - with priorities to decarbonise the transport system, level up left behind communities and facilitate sustainable economic growth in the South East.A key priority for Transport for the South East is to develop and maintain a Centre of Excellence for transport authorities within the region. TfSE’s Centre of Excellence launched on 18 June, and as we move into management of the site, we need to continue to engage with our partners and create new content.As TfSE’s new Project Officer, you'll have the opportunity to support these priorities, and help our local transport authorities improve their capacity and capability. Working to the Centre of Excellence Project Manager, you will have a key role in shaping and growing the Centre of Excellence site and pipeline of work. We're looking for someone who can confidently manage diverse stakeholders, build strong relationships, and is extremely organised.If you love connecting with people, and have the personality and flair it takes to get people engaged, then this role is for you.As part of the Centre of Excellence delivery team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the pipeline of content that will be developed by subject matter experts, partners, and colleagues within Transport for the South East. Efficient time management is paramount, to ensure deliverables are achieved in a timely manner to maintain support for the site. You will also be a key advocate to our partners and stakeholders to raise awareness of the TfSE mission and goals.Strong organisational skills and effective communication will be crucial to achieving success in this role. Our team currently works flexibly, including a mix of office, working from home, and travel to London or other areas of the South East as required.
