Optician - Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed optician to join our team. The role involves dispensing spectacles and other optical products, working with prescriptions and assisting patients with various types of lenses and frames. The position pays weekly and offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and enter order data accurately
• Provide excellent member service in person and over the phone
• Take measurements and assure correct frame selection for Rx power
• Educate patients on available products and recommend those that will meet their visual needs
• Adhere to privacy and company policies and procedures
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain club policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work as an optician within the state
• Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Open shift availability required for full-time positions
