Travel RN - Med/Surg - SMCCShift: Days / 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, (will accept 48 upon request), EOHLength:
13 weeks
Weekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week scheduleRequirements:
IN/compact licenseMinimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience1 travel assignmentTrauma level II experienceSkillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, ostomy care, blood product administration, tele interpretation, wound care (packing, wound vacs, dressing changes), pre/post heart cath (Fem./TR bands/no interventions). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidatesAHA BLSAHA ACLSNIHSSRecent Epic charting experience

Patient Population:
Post surgical -whipples, vascular, pre/post heart caths, bariatric, ENT, podiatry, open bellies. Dementia, AMS, CIWA/detox, q 2 hour turns, fall risks, thyroid surgeries
Unit Information: 41 beds.
Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes a patient assignment.Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubsCovid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to changeNo local candidates (40 mile radius rule)First to float within skillset
