The Manufacturing Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data related to manufacturing operations, developing financial reports, and providing financial analysis and support to the manufacturing team. The role involves monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:Analyze and present financial results to site leadership, with a focus on key performance indicators (KPIs).Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, investigating and reporting on any variances.Support and analyze financial and operational data for the manufacturing team to enable informed decision-making.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis toolCross Functional Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams including supply chain, engineering, and operations to offer financial insights and support strategic decision-making.Partner with finance and accounting teams for financial analysis, month-end close, and annual requirements (such as audits).Engage in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and advance business initiatives.Process Improvement:

Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and procedures, leading to an increase in efficiency and accuracy.Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing operations, including cost savings and process improvements.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.3+ years of experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
