We have partnered with a Top 200 public accounting firm looking to hire an Accounting Manager to perform outsourced accounting services to state and local government entities.
This is the perfect position for someone who has worked as an accountant for a government body, but would like the perks and flexibility that come with working at a public accounting firm. Or someone who has experience auditing government clients and would like to do more in-the-weeds accounting work!
This position has the flexibility to work from home, in the office, or a hybrid of the two - wherever you work best!

Responsibilities:
Develop and refine complex Excel-based financial models and spreadsheets.Analyze large, intricate data sets from financial systems.Produce detailed study reports.Interpret comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and capital improvement plans.Lead consulting projects, managing timelines, client interactions, and deliverables.Drive process improvement initiatives, including software implementations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.Proficiency in governmental accounting or audit processes.5+ years of experience in accounting
