Your New Role at Bend Bioscience:

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate I. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions such as stage, load, and unload finished product and raw materials. They are also responsible for receiving and delivering materials, equipment and supplies and stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory in accordance with cGMP, SOP and safety guidelines.

How You Will Make An Impact:

Develop knowledge of warehouse operations including the receiving, handling, and shipping of controlled, non-controlled, and hazardous materials.Data Entry of transfers for material, packaging components and product in SAP and in the Material Locator database in Microsoft Access.Support with shipping, material handling and use of SAP program.Perform daily cycle counts and participate in inventories as required.Operate warehouse equipment including a variety of forklifts (some using cameras to guide the forks) without safety incidents.Perform safety inspections of forklifts and other warehouse equipment per checklist.Ensure warehouses are monitored during established shipping/receiving hours including authorized entry to the vault.Support with receiving physical handling, documentation, and use of SAP.Support with materials/components movement between the warehouses', vault II, solvent storage facility and other departments.Apply various labels including SAP to material/component containers.Inspect contents, verify, resolve issues, complete goods receipt in SAP and deliver courier shipments through facility (supplies, equipment etc.)Inspect and maintain all warehouse areas (on-site and off-site), loading bays and outside storage areas to make sure they are kept clean, organized, and safeIdeal Candidate Will Bring:

Generally, zero to two (0-2) years of experience with a high school diploma or GED.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesForklift license preferred. Bend Bioscience will issue license upon completion of required training.Valid Driver's license required.Ability to pass internal warehouse required trainings.Ability to operate computers with basic understanding of MS Office programs.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and count in all unites of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Special Working Conditions

Driving box truck between sites. Working with hazardous materials. Working outside in weather. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must have corrected visual acuity of 20/40 or better bilaterally.Must be able to pass color/contrast testing passing 9 of 12 elements and must be able to pass a peripheral assessment at 80º or better. The employee must meet hearing requirements to be approved to operate a Powered Industrial Truck.
