Must have own welding helmet to perform weld test onsite Our company is looking for a highly talented Welder to join our dynamic team. We're seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. Your responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components.

To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail.

salary: $15 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6:30 AM - 5 PMeducation: High School

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be weldedAlign components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp piecesWeld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gapsTest and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 10 hours at one time
