You'll be responsible for placing and pulling stock, restocking bottle and case returns, picking orders for salesmen and customers, sorting pallets, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You'll also ensure trucks are properly chocked before unloading and handle equipment responsibly. Follow safety protocols and report any damage to equipment or the building to a supervisor. Responsibilities
Place and/or pull stock from storage areas of the warehouseEnsure that the wheels of all trucks being unloaded have their wheels chocked before unloading beginsPick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locationsStock forward pick locations in the bottle room and the full case line in a neat and orderly mannerRestock bottle and case returns from customer ordersPick VIA orders for Salesmen and CustomersStores out of place product, 360 product and 370 product as directed by the supervisorSort pallets by sizeHandling of broken cases to include the re-boxing of good bottles and sending the broken ones to the dump locationLeave equipment in good working order and free of all trash for the next shiftEnsure the cleanliness of an assigned area of the warehousePerform all duties in a safe mannerWear all company issued safety equipmentReport any damage to the equipment and building to a supervisor as soon as it happensPerform other related duties as assigned
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 8 hours at one timeworking up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
