Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12.25H Night (23:00-11:45) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid NYSED RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate EFM, NCC-EFM Must-Have: IV competence preferred Job Description: - Provide nursing care for patients in a busy 8-bed Labor & Delivery/Postpartum unit.- Work in a recently renovated maternity services department.- Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to mothers and newborns.- Monitor and manage patients throughout the labor and delivery process.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Adhere to all relevant safety and quality standards for maternity care.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.- Navy blue scrubs will be provided.
