Sr Staff Accountant

Laxxon Medical, a leading biotechnology company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will provide support in carrying out daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledgerPrepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgetsAssist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processesConduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresCollaborate with department heads to optimize financial processes and proceduresPrepare and submit accurate tax filings and other statutory reportsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and tax advisorsRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA required5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the biotechnology industryProficient in financial software and ERP systems - QBO, Netsuite, Sage, SAP, Xero etcStrong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyProven ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholdersBenefits
