Insight Global is looking for an IT professional to provide second-tier support to end- ufor PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware. Theyll handle problems that the first tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. You will simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties. You will recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems and maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. From time to time, youll escalate more complex problems to Senior Level

Required Skills & Experience-5+ years of relevant experience as either Help Desk (Tier 1 & 2) or Service Desk (AA w/7+ yrs of relevant experience)-BA or BS degreeUnder general supervision, monitors and responds to technical control facility hardware and software problems utilizing hardware and software testing tools and techniques.Requires strong knowledge of PC/Network communications hardware/software, in a multi- protocol environment, and network management software.Provide Tier I and II support at remote field and garrison sitesPerform server and desktop installation, basic cablingPerform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networksProvide desktop system management involving account monitoring, security, operating system (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functionsMaintain and load cryptographic device and keysSet up administrator and service accounts and maintain system documentation

Certifications:-DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract-IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent-Required Computing Environment Certification: MCSA Windows Server 2012, Solaris 10, Linux+, VCP5, Azure Administrator Fundamentals etc
