The primary function of this position is to maneuvertractor trailers for the purpose of loading and unloading products whileproviding safety and security for the division yard and dock area. It isfurther required that the above function be completed in a safe and timelymanner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.This will be done by:Maintain and maneuver equipmenton yard prior to dispatch.Ensure the safe movement ofequipment around the yard and warehouse.Must be willing to work flexiblehours.Maintain equipment while on site.Drop and hook tractor to trailer.Inspects truck for defects,before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.Responsibilities:Responsible for the proper, complete,and safe execution of the logistics and other associated activities on thesite.Ability to verify unit initialsand numbers accurately.Maintain a safe pace whilespotting and pulling trailers/containers from dock doors.Maintain the integrity oftrailers and loads by ensuring that cold chain temperature is adhered to.Ensure all loads are guarded andsealed.When carrying out transport andstorage activities handle the requirements of the quality managementsystemOur Offer:Career pathway- potential to grow with the company.Attractive health coverage- majority covered by the company (health, dental and vision, life insurance and 401k.Personal Time Off- 160 hours earned in the 1st year.Salary Range:
