Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities and Position Qualifications:
Austin Pathology Associates, a Sonic Healthcare USA Partner, is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified Pathologist to join our hospital-based practice in Austin, TX. The group serves three hospitals and one outpatient clinic in the Austin area.
The candidate must have strong anatomic and clinical pathology skills, including experience with complex surgical cases, frozen sections, cytopathology including immediate adequacy procedures, and clinical laboratory duties. Subspecialty training and / or additional experience in
Cytopathology
or
Breast
is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clinicians, administrators, and laboratory staff.
Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and be eligible for unrestricted Texas license.
