The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS). The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the applications should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours. What You Are Good At Designing, developing, and deploying software Conducting thorough code and test reviews Analyzing user needs and making informed decisions based on those needs Using industry best practices and standards to design and develop applications Working collaboratively with others to solve challenging problems Making a positive influence on your team members and peers Communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner What you have To ensure that we fulfill our promise of challenging the status quo, this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 1 years of experience in a software development role 1 years of experience with Agile/Scrum development and CI/CD practices 1 years of coding experience in C# (.NET, .NET Core) Familiarity with IBM MQ, Kafka, Aerospike (NoSQL) database, CI/CD, Splunk (logging), PCF (Cloud), and Agile Practices Preferred Qualifications: Strong critical thinking, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills The ability to communicate your ideas in a clear and concise manner The ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with Schwab Technology ecosystem Whats in it for you At Schwab, were committed to empowering our employees personal and professional success.
