a Quality Technician in Brownsburg, IN.Day shift: Mon- Fri 8:00am – 4:30pmPay: $24.00 - 27.00 /hour*
As a
Quality Technician
you will:
Maintain the Supplier Quality lab as a clean, safe, work environment while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.Test, analyze, contain, sort and report result for supplier quality issues.Assist in updating reports and dashboards to support Supplier Quality.Manage suppliers and be comfortable contacting if sorting of parts is required.Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality relative to warranty agreements.Package and prepare product returns for shipment to suppliers.Complete corrective actions, PPAP reviews, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:
Basic knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, Nonconforming Material Reports (NMR), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and ISO Quality System processes.Associates degree in manufacturing, engineering, or science is PREFERRED or equivalent combination of experience and relevant technical training.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting within quality or manufacturing operations.Ability to use equipment such as power and hand tools, micrometers, gauges, fixtures, etc.Be proficient in the use of inspection equipment and ability to run basic root cause analysis on quality defects.
Pay Rate:
$24.00 – 27.00/hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
