Job Opening PathologistJob Location : Las Vegas NVContract : 3 MonthsShift : 4:30pm and they will work an 8 hour dayJob Description:The pathologist assistant will be capable of performing all routine functions in the surgical pathology area, including some escalated issues and troubleshooting quality issues.The individual will be responsible for conducting gross examinations of surgical pathology specimens under appropriate supervision.RequiredBachelor's degree meet all requirements for non-pathologist performing gross tissue examinations SOP and 1988 CLIA CFR 493, 1489Current state licensurePreferred Masters DegreePreferred 1 year surgical gross experience, including large complex/complicated specimensNAACLS approved pathologist assistant training programcandidate must have an ASCP PA certification and be able to provide a copy
